GREATER DENVER, COLORADO VIDEOGRAPHER OFFERS HIS
SERVICES TO THE PUBLIC
Bob Hirsch, who shot his first
photo in 1947, his first 8mm movie in 1953, and
began editing movies
in 1954, has announced the full time opening of
Bob Hirsch Videos in Arvada, Colorado between
Denver and Boulder.
Bob began photographing weddings professionally in
Chicago in the late 1960s, and will specialize in
wedding "tributes of love", his preferred term. He
would rather not tape a wedding "documentary".
Having four children of his own, and "more than a
half dozen grandchildren", Bob is proficient in
recording anniversaries, christenings, birthdays,
and parties of all description. Bob's son,
Derrick, has commented on the number of family
get-togethers: "It seems like someone sneezes, and
ten people show up to
celebrate!"
Being a student of history, Bob will also record
family reunions, history, biographies, and family
trees. "What better tribute to an elder family
member, past or present, then to profile his or
her life with testimonials from friends and
relatives, and photos and videos from their past",
he stated. In addition to video tape which
deteriorates over the years, Bob will provide
"generations lasting" DVDs that great-great-GREAT
grandchildren will be able to view.
Bob Hirsch Videos will also transfer tape to DVD
and will edit video tapes: "When was the last time
you sat down to view the hours of tapes recorded
over the years?", he asked. "Most tapes can be cut
by 40 to 65 per cent without harming the original
intent of the videographer, thus rendering them
much more viewable."
